- According to the Michigan State Police, there were 91,004 reported victims and 105 reported murders related to domestic violence in 2017.
- Nationally, females ages 18-24 and 25-34 generally experienced the highest rates of intimate partner violence.
- Nearly 1 in 5 women and 1 in 7 men report having experienced severe physical violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime.
- On a typical day, there are more than 20,000 phone calls placed to domestic violence hotlines nationwide.
