The Plymouth court is a great place to work; the judges have always been good to me in the 35th. Even the so called, toughest judge Lowe, has gone out of his way to help favorably resolve cases and it is much appreciated. Judge James Plakas was elected to the bench in 2008 after being a city attorney in Westland whom I used to work with. He was also a criminal defense attorney. Judge Plakas is young and liberal and a nice guy. He is intelligent and a licensed builder. Judge Mike Gerou has been on the bench since 2002 and is the court’s sobriety court judge. He is a very nice guy and fair with his rulings.
